Fall '11 Info Sessions
Info sessions for eligible candidates for this Fall '11 semester will be held next week. Tuesday (10-4-2011) at 7 p.m. in Zachry 127A and Wednesday (10-5-2011) at 7 p.m. in Zachry 333A. Hope to see you all newly eligible candidates there! Thanks and Gig 'Em!

Microsoft on Wednesday, March 9th
Microsoft will be visiting with HKN at 7PM on Wednesday, March 9th, in Zachry room 119B.
Information about the speaker, Terry Leeper, an Aggie and current Microsoft employee:
Terry Leeper has been with Microsoft since 1999. He currently serves as a Principal Architect for Developer Division where he is currently leading planning and investigative efforts for the next version of Visual Studio. Prior his current role, he was the Director for Developer Division China where he led global product development for the Developer Division in Shanghai. Prior to coming to Shanghai, Terry worked out of the United Kingdom as part of the EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) division of Developer and Platform Evangelism. In EMEA, he ran a cross-continent team of technical specialists and speakers who educated audiences in areas such as software development, software architecture, IT architecture and technologies, and web hosting and development. Terry originally started Microsoft in the Developer Division where he owned key technologies such as code generation and optimization, C++ libraries, 64-bit, High Performance Computing, and Unix Migration. Prior to coming to Microsoft, Terry was Director of Engineering at an embedded developer tools company where he was responsible for multiple product lines of embedded compilers, debuggers, simulators, and Integrated Development Environments. Terry is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

HKN for short, is THE nationally recognized Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor society that focuses on recognizing excellence in the classroom while maintaining essential core values that make someone an Eta Kappa Nu. We would love to have you, newly eligible candidate, at one of our informational this Tuesday and Wednesday February 15th and 16th, 7:00 p.m. in ZACH 119C.
